    Turoa ski-field on Mt Ruapehu is the North Islands largest field and with Whakapapa field on the other side of the hill, your season pass covers both sides. Turoa's better for boarding than Whakapapa with more wide open runs. Can be a few rocks to avoid as it's a volcano but makes your day more interesting.. Che Che, enjoy.
