Farm machinery, a train, a fire engine and old fashioned games are dotted around to inspire, intrigue and educate. Conveniently located just 20 minutes north of Tairua and just 10 minutes south of Whitianga on the main highway (State Highway 25).

    My first experiance at the Whiti farm was great ! Upon entering you are greeted by the nicest dogs, you get food bags to feed a variety of animals by hand and walk the grounds to different areas of the park. I was suprised about all the animals within the park, they ranged from Ostrich's to lizards my favourite being the donkeys. The couple who run the farm gladly answered any questions I had and well informed me on recent births of a few of the animals telling me to check those out in particular. All around great day !

    The exceptionally unique offerings of the Whiti Farm Park entails to a wonderful family-fun experience, filled with excellent sights and a vast variety of animals. The dedicated staff members and friendly atmosphere allow for both money and a day well spent. I hope to return to the Whiti Farm Park and would highly recommend stopping by.

    I have visited Whiti Farm Park before with members of our family; and even though I am in my 70's, I was thrilled at the prospect of visiting Whiti Farm Park yet again. It is what we call "Big Day Out", well worth a visit indeed and very educational. It is a very peaceful place nestled amongst farmland and many trees. We enjoyed a relaxing day, wondering around the property on the well formed tracks. We each had a small bag of special animal food that one can purchase upon arrival. The kids just loved the fact that they could safely feed the animals, which I might add, are very gentle. It was so nice too seeing the animals with their babies. Little girls of course, just love walking the track to the Fairy Garden, passing by a small waterfall on the way. I noticed how the boys loved climbing into the cab of the old Fire Engine too, which is amongst the many attractions. The Farm is indeed a credit to the owners. We say "Thankyou"to the owners - we shall return.

    We have sailed past this attraction annually for many years and finally made the effort to stop. Immensely glad we did, the hostess welcomed us like family, our teenage girls got to hold baby guinea pigs and bunnies, feed a fantastic assortment of really friendly animals and play giant Pick up Sticks and Dominos. Oodlees of shady places to sit down and just enjoy the rural ambience. We could have stayed all day!

    Every time I go the the Farm Park there is something new. Really looking forward to the opening of Stage 2, and the 2nd birthday on the 14th Dec 2008. The opening of Stage 1 was a blast. Take your lunch or BBQ food and spend the day for very little cost. Everybody from the youngest to the elderly have a great time. Remember to take your hat.

    What a fabulous day out. Great value the kids love it and there are plenty of spots for parents to relax while the kids enjoy good old fashioned kiwi fun. The animals are all so cute and it is great to go back and visit them and get to know them. My favorite is definatly the possum, Raisin , and my boy loves the pigs and the tractors. I love that the staff take the time to let the children interact with the animals, not just looking through wires. Well done Whiti Farm Park.

    We had a great time. What a brilliant way to keep kids entertained for a few hours. Loads of neat animals for kids to see and interact with. Awesome country surroundings. We wont be able to drive past anymore, kids wont let us. Cheerz farm park for a great day out and more to come i suspect.

    Personally - I feel many family oriented activities are such a rip-off. What a breath of fresh air (pardon the pun) for there to be such an entertaining, 'back to nature' type thing to do that has the 'wow factor' for the whole family.
    Excellent value for money - and worth visiting every time you pass by - to see the baby animals.
    I'm really looking forward to a night in a teepee - from early next year I believe.

    Sooooooooo many well cared for and freindly animals. What a neat place and according to the friendly owners, they have plans to keep expanding.This is the sort of place, childhood memories are made of. The whole family loved it, and we will return again.
