Welcome to Splash Planet – Hawke’s Bays number one visitor destination where you can be sure to enjoy a whole days fun. Splash Planet combines all the fun and excitement of New Zealand’s only water theme park within a shaded 6.5 hectares of subtropical garden. Whether you choose to laze along in our never ending river or plunge down the Sky Castle Screamer, at Splash Planet we are committed to providing a full day of splashtacular fun and relaxation for everyone!

Splash Planet is home to thrilling slides and rides as well as activities for the young and old alike who just want something a little quieter. There is something for the whole family here along with our wonderful café – just another excuse to relax while on holiday.

Some of the fun includes...

Sky Castle Screamer
Side-by-side slides let you race your buddies in the most extreme slide of them all. The ultimate rush!

Never Ending River
Lie back and unwind as you gently cruise around the continuous river on inflatable tubes. Great for kids of all ages.

Bumper Boats
Ba-boing your way to a splashy showdown. Take your buddies in a bounce-a-second battle for aquatic domination.

Formula Fun
Racing budding racers, this ispetrol head heaven! An engine, a tank of gas and an accelerator. Other than victory, what more could you need.

Tiny Town
Have peace of mind while your toddlers play in Tiny Town's fully enclosed play area. Relax and have an espresso coffee or bite to eat from the Planet Cafe.

In the summer season the whole park is open from 10 am until 6 pm
(closed Christmas Day)
In winter the northern end of the park is open.

  I had the best time here over summer. I live in australia and next time i go to NZ i will definately take all family.
