  Sorry but this restaurant now is "le canard" and the food is delicious but François is not the owner now.

  I visited Wellington in September 2007 for a conference and a quick lunch at the Francois on my last day was a true highlight of my stay. I almost missed the airport bus (departing from a bust stop near the restaurant) I so enjoyed the atmosphere, the food and the wine beautifully complimenting the lunch menu (fennel sausages and red cabbage). I would recommend the Francois to anyone visiting Wellington and looking for a stylish place to sample homely French cuisine.
