Situated in the heart of Courtenay Place, Coyote stands out from the Euro-style eateries with its adobe walls, high timber ceilings, exposed roof trusses and copper, steel & timber fixtures surrounding a “central island” bar.

The enormous courtyard with convenient indoor/outdoor flow and ample seating provides a welcoming, social atmosphere of earthy tones and natural light. This is continued inside with the aid of seven enormous wrought iron & sculptured glass skylights.

Coyote Wellington opened in 1998 and is now a well established icon in the busy Courtenay Place district - you can't miss it on your way through town. Indulge in the tapestry of flavours created from the Southwest. Santa Fe cuisine, influenced and recreated by our own Chefs.

My partner and I went to this restaurant the other weekend before we went to a movie.

Their staff were extremely polite and friendly.

We shared a couples platter (49 dollars). It sounded better on the menu than what it was simply 4 pieces of flat bread, a small amount of rice, a few leaves of lettuce, three small dishes of sauce, a small dish of cheese and a couple of tablespoons of chicken and beans.

Although it tasted nice we expected something a heck of a lot better for the 49 dollars that we paid.

This dish would have been really easy for me to have whipped up at home for around half the price of this.

Quite frankly we will not be going back there again for dinner.
