Cafe Affair's decor expresses the history and beautiful natural surrounds of Nelson, like the Boulder Bank, Appleby River and the Waimea plains. Memorabilia from the old prospectors and businesses, line the walls complimenting the old photos from the past. Monthly art displays from local artist also feature.

We have selected the best of Nelson and Marlborough wines and foods and present them to you in a form to be savoured. Open for breakfast every morning you can try our traditional breakfast of bacon and eggs. Select an item from our display cabinet to compliment your choice of coffee or try something from our menus like prime fillet steak or chefs fish of the day just to name a few.

I really enjoyed my lunch at Cafe Affair yesterday. The outdoor seating area was great. Plenty of that lovely sunshine that Nelson is famous for. What I also liked is that it is at the church hill end of Trafalgar Street so there isn't much traffic either but still plenty of people. I had the smoked chicken salad which was absolutely delicious and would highly recommend it. Also the staff were very friendly and professional. Two thumbs up!
