Situated on the shores of Queenstown Bay, with outstanding views of the bay and the Remarkables mountain range, the outlook is truly breathtaking. A sunset on the mountains, the lights of the town shimmering on the lake waters, the steamship Earnslaw gliding in to dock in front of the restaurant -- the perfect complement to the fine food, wine and service we offer.
We specialise in fresh seafood, flown in regularly from all over the North and South Island.
From the North Island comes succulent Pacific Oysters, Kingfish, Yellow Fin Tuna, Snapper and John Dory.
Specialities from the South include world famous Bluff Oysters, Scallops from Nelson, Crayfish (spiny rock lobsters), Blue Cod and Groper from the cold clear waters of the Fiordland Coast, Ocean-raised Salmon from Akaroa Harbour and (in season) Whitebait from the Arawata River in the rugged West Coast.
