  We ordered a half and half large pizza. Half Gone Hunting with venison and wild pork and the other was the one with rabbit meat. YUM it was so good. The rabbit was definately my favourite. But what made this trip super special for me is I returned the next day to locate my camera which I accidentially left on the couch and there was a little note stuck to the door giving me directions to a home so I could retrieve my camera at 10am instead of waiting til they opened at 5pm. What a sweatheart!!!

  The pizzas are to die for. I loved the Gone Hunting, which is smoked venison, wild pork, chorizo, spiced plum sauce, blue cheese sauce on top. Perfect for you meat lovers.
  I've tried and recommend the Hen & Ham - rosemary scented chicken, plum sauce, spinach, cream cheese, crispy bacon. Best chicken pizza I've eaten. And I've eaten pizzas worldwide for the last four decades.
  The bases as thin, crisp and so tasty.
  Prices are from $15 for the small and from $23 for the large.

  Just wanted to make a point of letting you know just how much we enjoyed our meal last night, We had the Roasted Chicken, Spinach, Cream Cheese, Rosemary, Cranberry Sauce and Bacon ( Hen & Ham? ) & The Garlic Bread OMG it was absolutely delicious and I thank you all very much. We will be recommending The Black Rabbit Pizza Co. as one of 'The MUST go' in Kaikoura. Its the The Best Gourmet Pizza I've ever had, so yeah once again guys keep up the excellent taste, and not to mention friendly customer service. Moving back home to Australia in July, love to see The Black rabbit Co. over our way!

  We managed to sneak in to the Black Rabbit just before they were closing and I am so glad we did. The food is awesome and the staff wonderfully friendly. We ordered one of the gourmet pizzas which I have to say is the best pizza I've had in years and the venison spaghetti which was so rich and delicious I was sad when I'd finished it. If you're in Kaikoura then this is definitely the place to eat.

  The Black Rabbit Pizza Co is a cute little restaurant serving up amazing gourmet pizzas. We ordered two pizzas, one was the "Hen & Ham" and the other was a meaty pizza with venison and chorizo (sorry I forget the name of it). Both were truly outstanding pizzas, lots of toppings and flavours. Even their vegetarian pizzas looked amazing. I would highly HIGHLY recommend the pizza from here!
