Relax in the rugged wilderness of Stewart Island and watch Kiwi and Tui’s wandering around as you unwind in our welcoming hostel. The Stewart Island hostel is a warm, cosy two-bedroomed house, with a single apartment underneath. All linens, laundry, kitchen equipment is provided. The hostel is only a 5 minute walk to shops and wharf. Bookings for this self-contained hostel must be made via YHA Te Anau on (03) 249 7847

We do not have staff on-site. Once you have made your booking the hostel caretaker will be notified and will come and meet you from your ferry or flight.
