Surfit offers a unique experience, snorkeling with the sharks!!

Our cage floats on the surface enabling even the novice to enter the cage and be able to stand chest deep in the water.

Clad in a wetsuit and wearing a weight belt adventurers are able to move to the bottom of the cage and view sharks (mainly Mako) taking live baits only 1 metre away from them. The mako sharks weigh in between 50 & 120kg sometimes 2 or 3 at a time.

Patrons are able if they wish, to grab one of the regulator mouth-pieces and remain underwater for 25 minutes. Usually excitement rules, heads pop out and voices squeak or squeal quite regularly.

It is our intention to operate an eco-friendly operation, traveling to where the sharks are rather than having one specific location. We are in contact with the recreational fishermen and are informed as to the sharks whereabouts on any given day.

Sea conditions determine what we are able to do on any particular day. We don't go to sea if it's rough. Bookings Essential for this unique, heart-pounding, yet totally safe, marine encounter!

Surfit also runs fishing charters and diving trips.

    My husband Paul and I had an amazing time on our shark dive on the 26th. I was so excited I didn't even have time to be scared. After the first time in the cage I wanted to see more sharks and bigger sharks. I can honestly say it was the highlight of our vacation. I just wanted to drop you a note to say thank you!
