IF WE CAN - YOU CAN !! My friend and I skydived to face what life’s dealt us head on !! My hip problems, her fear of heights, and both busy mums who had forgotten what its like to feel soooooo ALIVE ! Skydive Wanaka have proven to us why they have won tourism awards – we had so much fun in the build up with the fantastic staff…in fact the whole process was so smooth, professional, fast and fun that we left all our issues up at 15,000 feet !!! My friend gets nervous walking over bridges, and I feel sick if I swing too high with my preschoolers on a swing, yet we both LOVED sky diving !! – it’s just the best adrenalin rush EVER !! (And great value for your dollars as not only do you get strapped onto a beautiful stranger – but one who also gives you a lesson on the geography of the area as the plane circles higher!!) Don’t wait to add this to your “bucket list” – do it now as you will want to do it again!! Definitely get the video and photos. It’s great footage of one of the most beautiful places in the world, you get to pick your own music to go in the background, show it to all your friends and family, and relive the excitement over and over (its my 4 year olds favourite DVD at the moment, and he is still saying “I’m so proud of you for jumping out of a plane mum”…… good parental role modelling.???!!!!.)– still buzzing 2 months later, this experience was AWESOME – cheers and thanks for the most memorable birthday ever!…… after my surgery, if the Doc allows it ….I’ll be back…..watch this space !
If this isn't on your bucket list, you had better put it right at the top! Words do not do this expereince justice. From the simplicity of booking, friendly and professional staff, great equipment and the amazing views, it was all 110%. As soon as I stepped in the door I was greeted by a group of down to earth individuals who clearly loved their job. The safety briefing video was excellent and provided concise information. After the form were signed, a wardrobe change was called for: supplied with great quality jump suits and then harnesses put on. A meet and greet with the "beautiful stranger" that will soon be strapped onto your back and plummiting towards the earth re-inforced the safety procedures and how exciting it was going to be. Within minutes we boarded the comfortable aircraft and headed to the jump zone 12,000ft above. I can reccommend this whole heartedly as the one of the best things in New Zealand, if not the world. If you have the opportunity to jump, DO IT! The views are great, the rush is un-forgettable and the staff are like old friends.
It was the most amazing thing I've ever done and everyone should try it! It's awesome. :)
The Company is a well oiled, professional machine from the internet booking to the landing. The ground staff, pilot and incredible skydiving team along with the amazing scenery make for an unforgettably exhilarating lifetime experience that we will cherish forever. The skydive was undoubtedly the highlight of our trip. If you get the opportunity, don't miss it - well worth the fright!!!!!

Absolutely awesome - the flight up and the surrounding scenery was already amazing, and the freefall from 15000ft has left us smiling from ear-to-ear. We will be recommending it to anyone who will be visiting NZ. Many thanks to the Skydive team

They should give you bowling shoes with the jumpsuit, but it's okay cos they don't video your shoes. the skydive was good. my instructor was called Chris, that is a good name.

Awesome first skydiving experience!!! The staff were fantastic at talking us through everything, and answering our questions, e.g. at 12000ft "Do you have your parachute on?" haha ;-D
If you can afford the handycam-video, it has a great soundtrack and is well edited!!!
AWESOME mates! do it do it do it!! why not do it millions of times with Wanaka Skydivers. This guys know how to give you the best experience! the views are unbelievable. this was my first but not last time, for sure=)
