Come horseback riding with Briars’ Forest and Riverside Horse Trek through gorgeous New Zealand Farm land. Guide your horse through our farm and forest trail options. A special fantasy area down by the riverside will delight kids and adults alike. Along the way keep your eyes open, you could see deer with fawns, magnificent stags, highland cattle, Momma pig and piglets, baby turkeys, peahens, paradise ducks on the pond, cows and calves, sheep and lambs.

We have access to many hundreds of acres all boasting amazing scenic views. We take pride in our journey options available, all of which cater for horse riding groups small and large, riders experienced and inexperienced. Experienced riders can usually enjoy a canter or gallop. A once in a life time, unforgettable horse trek experience. A great way to see and feel the real New Zealand behind the fence and off the highways.

Each ride is briefed with safety and 'how to' procedures and new riders are given a free 5 minute riding lesson to ensure riders know how to whoa and go. We work hard to deliver safe and professional treks. Comfortable modern helmets are provided. You should wear long trousers and closed footwear. We provide you with belt bags so you can quick draw that camera. We also take your group photo on request with your camera so everyone important is in your picture
