Arrow Water Transport provide a 7 day on demand water taxi service for bikers, hikers, bach owners, groups etc in the Queen Charlotte Sounds and Tory Channel. For those interested in mountain biking or hiking the Queen Charlotte Track, Arrow Water Transport offers several different packages.

Hikers, Walkers, Trampers
The Queen Charlotte Track is 67km long running through the Marlborough Sounds starting at the outer Queen Charlotte down along the Kenepuru saddle giving breath-taking views along the tops through sheltered bays and native bush and is opened throughout the year for hikers.

Option 1 -Two Day Walk
You will spend 2 days walking through an intricate maze of walkways with spectacular views and lush greenery which provides for the perfect nature experience. Day 1, 50-55 minutes cruise down the Queen Charlotte Sound to Punga Cove. Walk to Portage. Then Day 2, walk to Anakiwa. You will be picked up and returned to Picton.

Option 2 -Day Trip
Cruise to Torea Bay. Spend the morning walking the ridge tops with awesome views to both Queen Charlotte and Kenepuru Sounds and the afternoon walking through beautiful native bush. Picked up at Anakiwa and returned to Picton.

Mountain Bikers
The track is 67km long and opened to Mountain biking from 28 February to December 1.

Option 1 -Fit 2 Day Ride
You will spend 2 days riding through an intricate maze of waterways with it's attractive beaches and lush greenery which provides for the perfect nature experience. Day 1, 50-60 minutes cruise down the Queen Charlotte Sound to Resolution Bay or Ship Cove. Bike to Portage. Day 2, bike to Anakiwa. You will be picked up and returned to Picton.

Option 2 -Easy Day Ride
Cruise to Torea Bay. Spend the morning biking the ridge tops with awesome views to both Queen Charlotte and Kenepuru Sounds and the afternoon riding through beautiful native bush. Picked up at Anakiwa and returned to Picton.

Bookings are essential. Picton departures from our berth at the Town Wharf, London Quay or at the Ferry Terminal on request.
